good morning again,

i have a little hangover, so i will be brief.

have u heard the news?

the dutch goverment is planning to outlaw online gambling like the americans. but unlike the americans we have a fair system of passing a bill (so no sneaky attechments) and today our house of parlements will have a hearing for this. at this moment there is no majority for outlawing online gambling but the cristian parties are still in douth, and with there votes in favour for this bill… well we will be screwed.

as they cannot block sites they willl ask the banks to make a blacklist of all the sites who promote online gambling and the banks will not transfer funds from and to these sites. so gambling will not be forbidden.

the dutch pokerunion (link in \”my links\”) tried allready a year ago to start a discussion about gambling and poker. till now poker is still seen as in a ganster movie, sweaty guys sitting around a table with a knife between their teeth. but more and more dutch players join the pokerrooms (and yes i know, we play bad).

poker is \’hot\” and you can watch poker on television every day.

the pokerunion is there to take poker more into the open. last year they wanted to present a petition to demand some time to speak in the house of parlement. but alas, the dutch players didnt collaborate and the petition laked some signatures so all they could do is to hand over some slips of paper at the door of the house of parlements.

i ask every dutch player to join the POKERBOND (its free).

they will try to make a new petition or organize something else so that our voice can be heard.

hmm maybe we can try to make the state believe that we will plann a terrorist attack…

they cant tell when we are bluffing….

and welcome to my first blog entry.

im quite exited to start my first blog. and i have no idea were to start….

well lets start at the beginnning…

a little introduction of myself.

im living in the beautyfull city of Arnhem in the even more beautyfull country The Netherlands ( and that is NOT Holland, Holland is just a small part of The Netherlands. lets say that u, reader, are an american from New York and somebody says to you: hey you are from New York, so you are a Texan ! duh) )

Arnhem is something like a haven to me. i have lived in some other places but i always come back to this big little town. i think most of you have heared about this town or have seen it in the movies. yep it is the famous \”a Bridge too Far\” city.

I have worked for years in fancy hotels and restaurants as a maitre and sommelier (take a dictoinairy) and one morning i got out of bed and quit my job. i was fed up with it and wanted something new. i had some lame jobs in the first year and then i encounterd POKER yea

Im now 38 years young, i have a son named Artos Arjuna. named after all the three musketeers and after one of the Pandava\’s brothers from the Hindu epic The Mahabharata.

im not married and probably never will, but i have a nice and loving girlfriend.

I still dont have a Job and i hope that i never will.

I have been living from the micro limits for 2 years and now i decided not to make any withdraws anymore and start building up a solid bankroll.

My aim? one stack on NL400 a day !  its gonna be tough but i know i can !

POKER

Some years ago i was playing at Everest and a german called my attention to PokerStrategy. A new pokerschool that was growing fast. Here i learned good solid poker based on mathematics. A new world opend for me. Before i joined i was a total fish  , donking away my money and playing like a fool.

I recieved a starting capital and i never ever had to deposit nomore.
